New Year . . .New Projects! :)

I thought after the Christmas rush that my January would be a bit quiet, but wow I couldn't be more wrong! I've been swimming in a sea of commissions some of which include custom wedding dress paintings, personalized Mom's nest paintings, a book cover, pet portraits, and a possible 8 book children's series! I feel beyond blessed to be so busy, true the stress can be a bit much at times, but I just need to remember to take a few moments here & there & just breathe! Continued blessings to you & yours in 2012!

Bernese Mountain Dog Painting in OIL & Update on Taffy

Just finished this Bernese Mountain Dog painting which will be available in my store on etsy or if you are interested in purchasing it feel free to contact me! Taffy is still in his fight against bone cancer...it's been pretty rough this past week, he doesn't want to eat much and the tumor has gone thru his cheekbone and into his mouth. Meds have been difficult to get in at times, so much so that when he does not want to take them by mouth we have to give them the other way...I know, not pretty but if it means saving his life, well you just do it. Thank you for your contiued prayers & if you are interested in having a portrait done or know of anyone please feel free to contact me and/or pass along my name. God bless!

Vinny the Schnauzer & an Update on Taffy

A recent commission I just finished of a Schnauzer named Vinny & a photo of our Taffy...still battling bone cancer...the tumor continues to die, Taffy continues to fight for life. Thank you for your prayers & support. If you or anyone you know is interested in a pet portrait feel free to contact me!

Westie with Pink Spode & Update on Taffy

Just finished the Westie portrait I've been working on, although I need to get a better photo tomorrow once the sun appears...Taffy is still battling bone cancer...we go back to the Oncologist this Wednesday...trying not to be discouraged, but we just want to start seeing the tumor shrink & so far it hasn't much.

Westie with Pink Spode & Update on Taffy

A cropped version of a Westie painting I am almost finished with...and the best way to update you on how Taffy is doing I think is thru video, check it out on youtube :)

Destroying the Tumor & Saving Taffy's Life...

We went to the Oncologist today & they injected the bone with Neoplasene and the tumor some more...it ruptured this afternoon which is good! It will continue to drain & eventually fall off & only leave healthy tissue behind. Praying his eye will be ok...but praying more that his life will be saved! God, we need a miracle.
