The Rainbow Bridge...

I've been blown away at the interest in my Rainbow Bridge painting, but I reckon it has hit a spot so many of us hold in our hearts for those precious pups that we have lost...I believe whole heartedly they will be in Heaven...I can't imagine God would create such loving creatures for it not to be so.~Lara

New Year . . .New Projects! :)

I thought after the Christmas rush that my January would be a bit quiet, but wow I couldn't be more wrong! I've been swimming in a sea of commissions some of which include custom wedding dress paintings, personalized Mom's nest paintings, a book cover, pet portraits, and a possible 8 book children's series! I feel beyond blessed to be so busy, true the stress can be a bit much at times, but I just need to remember to take a few moments here & there & just breathe! Limited Offer! 5x7 Portraits $65 Canvas Panel/$100 Stretched Canvas to Help with Taffy's Cancer Treatment

For a Limited Time I will be offering 5x7 Pet Portraits in Oil for $65 on canvas panel, $100 on stretched canvas & 8x10 portraits for $125 on canvas panel, $150 on stretched canvas (I usually charge $200)...we really need the help with Taffy's ongoing treatment of bone cancer. His pain patches alone will cost us $200 a month & this doesn't include his supplements, chemo, etc. etc. Feel free to share with anyone you may know who might be interested in having a portrait done! He's home...

Taffy had surgery yesterday to remove most of the tumor...there is just a bit above his eye...looks awful, but much of it was removed & he will be able to see out of his eye. He needs to heal up this week & then we fight like hell next week to kill the remaining cancer. Thank you for your continued thoughts & prayers. We love our boy so much.

Biopsy this Wednesday...Prayers welcome

 Back from the vet with a broken heart...Taffy needs to have a biopsy this Wednesday...that alone could be close to $1000...if it is cancer the surgery could be $3000 plus the cost of chemo...not sure what we will do. All I could try & do is raise funds thru my art....trying to stay positive & hopeful. Taffy is only 7 & has so much life to still live....please God don't take him yet.
